A bit about me

My name is Cassandra, I'm an arts educator, curator, urban flower grower, and visual artist. My work connects me to the various landscapes I consider home. I have been a collector for a long time and have always been curious about what it means to put things together in a particular way to tell a story. My work encompasses a variety of fresh and dry materials, combining indoor and outdoor worlds, expressed via painting, photography, and sculpture. My journey with growing and using flowers for artmaking has informed the way I use, teach, and embed all things botanical.
Cassandra's Initiatives

Sustainable Roots
Pollinator Partnership Program
Studio 77 is pursuing Pollinator Stewardship Certification, committing to sustainable growth while preserving and supporting the native environment. We will offer garden tours and visits upon completion, inviting guests to explore and connect with the space.

Floral Resilience
Run for the Cure
Flowers of Fortitude was an outdoor sculpture for the CIBC Run for the Cure, symbolizing progress in breast cancer research since the 1980s. Featuring over 500 unique resin daffodils and primroses, it represented collective strength and ongoing growth. Created with Liana Tarantini, it was displayed at the Bentway in Toronto from August 23 to September 21, 2024.
