Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 12, 2026. These terms apply to bookings for the Art & Wellness Retreat in Calabria, Italy offered by Studio 77.

Booking and Deposits

Your spot on the retreat is reserved when we receive your completed booking form and your deposit of 20% of the retreat price ($880 per person), or payment in full. You will receive an instant confirmation email when your booking is placed, and within 48 hours we will follow up with complete retreat details, including arrival and departure information.

Each participant in a booking must provide complete and accurate participant information, including emergency contact details.

Balance and Payments

The remaining balance is charged automatically to the card used at booking 60 days before the retreat start date. Reminder emails are sent before the charge. If a balance payment cannot be processed after repeated attempts, your spot on the retreat may be forfeited and the cancellation terms below will apply.

Payment by e-transfer is also available. When paying by e-transfer, your booking is confirmed once the funds are received.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be sent to us in writing by email. The effective cancellation date is the date we receive your request. Should you cancel your trip, the following terms apply based on the number of days before the retreat start date:

  • 77 to 60 days before the retreat: 50% refund of payments collected, minus the deposit
  • 59 to 45 days before the retreat: 25% refund of payments collected, minus the deposit
  • 44 days or fewer before the retreat: no refund

The deposit is non-refundable outside the refund windows stated above. Exceptions cannot be made to these terms, which is why we strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance.

In the unlikely event that Studio 77 must cancel the retreat, all amounts paid to Studio 77 will be refunded in full. Studio 77 is not responsible for other costs incurred by participants, such as flights or accommodations.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included and is each participant's own responsibility. If you must cancel your trip for any reason, including health reasons for yourself or a family member, the cancellation terms above will apply. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance can cover some or all of these expenses, and we highly recommend obtaining a policy through your travel agency, credit card provider, or airline.

Flights and Transportation

Flights are not included in the retreat price. Participants are responsible for booking their own flights to and from Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF).

The retreat includes the group shuttle from Lamezia Terme Airport on the scheduled arrival day, return transportation to the airport on the scheduled departure day, and transportation between all scheduled retreat activities. The group shuttle departs the airport at 3:00 p.m. on arrival day. Participants arriving after the scheduled departure time are responsible for arranging their own transportation to their accommodations. On departure day, participants must be ready to leave Locri by 8:30 a.m.

Accommodations

Participants are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodations throughout the retreat, including the overnight stays in Longobucco and Locri. A list of recommended accommodations in each location will be provided upon booking and prior to departure.

Physical Fitness and Accessibility

The retreats are inclusive of everyone but unfortunately, they are not accessible. Many of the excursions require a good amount of walking on mixed terrain (cobblestone, asphalt, dirt roads, sand, grass, etc), including hills, uneven pavement, and steps. Participants must be able to walk in this manner without difficulty.

Luggage

We suggest traveling with no more than one medium-size checked bag and one carry-on bag. Please check your airline's weight and liquid limits before packing.

Itinerary Changes

While every effort will be made to follow the published itinerary, minor adjustments may occur due to weather, local events, or the pace of the group. Estimated activity hours are a guide and may vary.
