terrazzo
terrazzo
This mini sculpture was created for the L'Arte Sussurra exhibition put on by ITALUS.
The base of terrazzo was brought back from San Fili in 2025 and found along a path between there and Gesuiti. It is paired with a seashell, and topped with a ceramic made in the studio. The smaller tiles on and within the shell were unearthed on the Ionian side of Calabria, just south of Locri. And tiny detail of quartz to give it a bit of sparkle.
